Istrehågan gravplass

Istrehågan is a burial ground from the Roman Iron Age, approx. 400 - 600 years
after NOK It is located in Tjølling Municipality (Tjodalyng) and is a collection of graves, ia two sets of ships, one large and one smaller said two pieces. stone circles. A bit tricky to find if you are not familiar with the area, as it is in a wooded area, but you can drive all the way to the front. There is a bit of confusing signage, so I ended up at a parking space for walkers where there were somewhat unclear explanations of how  to get there. Well, I found out, but with a good dose of luck.

The cemetery is well located  on a
open plain in a woodland.

Here there are also stone circles that
surrounds are adequate.

The largest of the ships' fleets.

This is like a monument and documents
an important part of our history.

This is the somewhat smaller ship sentence, but is
a bit special, as it is in contrast to what is
usually has lying stones instead of standing ones
as on the big one.
